Marvel's characters have anchored the alternative poster scene since the beginning, from Spider-Man and the X-Men to the era-defining runs of the MCU. Nearly every major house has worked with the license: Grey Matter Art built much of its catalog on comic art, Bottleneck Gallery runs deep on it and now publishes comics of its own, and Mondo has returned to it repeatedly over the years.
