Friday closes out the week with a big one. Terminator 2 turns 35 this year and it’s still the benchmark for how a sequel should work, bigger and meaner than the original, with the T-1000 effects that dragged all of Hollywood into the CGI era. Cameron spent what was then the biggest budget in movie history and every dollar of it is on the screen. Matthew Woodson stages his endoskeleton like a proper studio one-sheet, billing block and all, the same trick that made his Brazil and 2001 prints sing. The red regular is the one I’d hang. Silver feels obvious for this machine, the red makes it a poster.
